Description | The Coachella Valley Unified School District (CVUSD or District) is requesting proposals in the following categories: Category A Wide Area Network (the Project). CVUSD prefers a single vendor for all services, but may make multiple awards to be determined at CVUSDs sole discretion. sealed proposals for the award of contract(s) for Wide Area Network and Internet Access RFP # 99 22-23 The projects are contingent upon the approval of funding from the Universal Service Funds Schools and Libraries Program, otherwise known as E-Rate. Even after award of contracts, the District may or may not proceed with the projects, in whole or in part, even in the event E-Rate funding is approved. Execution of the projects, in part or in whole, is solely at the discretion of the District. Vendors wishing to bid do so solely at their own risk. The District is not liable or responsible for any costs, loss, fees, or expenses, of any kind, associated with the bid and/or a decision not to proceed with the project, even after award of the contracts. By submitting a bid, each vendor agrees to bear all of its own costs, fees, expenses, and losses, of any and all kind, should the District cancel the projects. Firms responding to this Request for Proposal must possess a valid and current E-Rate Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) in order to be considered for award in conjunction with this solicitation. Award of any Contracts resulting from this RFP shall be in accordance with Public Contract Code 20118.2, competitive negotiation process for technology goods and services. Price is an important consideration in this process, but not the only consideration. Other factors may include total cost/value to the district, past performance, ability to start services within a specific timeframe, ability to provide services to all schools, single vendor to provide all services within a category, vendor qualifications/certifications. All prices and quotations must be typed or written in ink. Proposals written in pencil will be rejected. No Submitter may withdraw its proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for opening of proposals. All submittals shall be made and presented on forms furnished by the District. All questions must be submitted through the bid manager and will be answered through the bid manager. The District reserves the right to waive any irregularities, accept or reject any or all proposals and to accept or reject any items thereon. |
