Dowlen West Pipe Bursting Contract - Phase I

Scope of Work: 1. Provide a construction schedule to facilitate scheduling of work to be performed by the OWNER and others. The CONTRACTOR will be required to submit for the Engineer’s approval, a construction sequence of the phased installation for the proposed work. The OWNER shall reserve the right to make adjustments to the construction sequence to limit the number of service interruptions. 2. Provide bypass pumping and sewer flow control during the pipe bursting and manhole replacement operations, as necessary. 3. The project includes the rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer lines by pipe bursting approximately 14,000 L.F. of existing six and eight-inch sanitary sewer mains to eight-inch (8.625 OD”) and approximately 3,200 L.F. of existing ten-inch sanitary sewer mains to ten inch (10.75 OD”) High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, as well as related manholes and service connections.
