Description

HVAC Removal and Installation - Remove and dispose 7 existing Carrier model air handlers. Remove and dispose of any material that is not being used on replacement unit. Install 7 new Carrier model air handlers with cooling coils. New air handler specs will be given out during job walk. The contractor will install new 22 gauge curb cap to fit new units. The contractor will disconnect the chilled/hot water lines and reconnect them to the new units. Contractor will tie in existing building automation system and will verify that automation system is working properly. The contractor is responsible for installing the supply and return fan motors. The contractor will be responsible for getting the specs on the motors. The contractor will supply any electrical fittings and conduit. The contractor will furnish new fused disconnects rated for all motors. The new units will be tied into existing power supply. If main breaker needs to be sized different than the existing breaker, the contractor will supply and change out the breaker to the correct size. ? If any wires need to be changed, the contractor will provide and install the new wiring. The new units will be tied into existing duct work. The contractor is to fabricate or modify ducts to accommodate the new units. New Flex connectors and sun covers will be installed at all duct connections to the new units. The contractor will reinsulate chilled/hot water lines that were cut or removed during removal of unit. If there are any building penetrations made by the contractor, the contractor is responsible for sealing them. The contractor is responsible for any damage caused during removal and replacement of the unit. The contactor shall follow all title 24 building codes pertaining to this job. The Contractor is responsible for liability insurance, additional insured and waiver of subrogation for workers compensation all listing County of Kings, its officers, employees & agents. 1400 W. Lacey Blvd. Hanford CA 93230. The Contractor is responsible for any cost associated with obtaining these insurance certificates. The contractor who receives this job is responsible for any drawings or paper work required to obtain a permit. The contractor who receives the job is responsible for obtaining the building permit with the Kings County Building Department. No variation from this scope of work is accepted unless expressed written permission has been approved. The project will be done on normal working days and hours. Contractor will be responsible for clean up of all trash and debris related to this project on a daily basis and upon completion.
