Architectural and Engineering Services for Plano Campus Theater Renovation

Qualified firms to select an architectural firm to provide services for the remodel of 19,200 s.f. of two theaters and related support spaces on the Collin College Plano (Spring Creek) Campus. There is a Main Theater and the Black Box Theater. Preliminary Scope will include: 1. ADA compliance updates 2. Seating replacements in Main Theater 3. Balcony railing system in Main Theater 4. Carpet in Main Theater 5. Flooring in Black Box Theater 6. Interior Decor update throughout 7. Paint, where applicable 8. Refinish ceiling panels in Main Theater 9. New Lighting Control Systems 10. Includes dimmers, consoles and network equipment for both theaters 11. New Sound System 12. Includes speakers, consoles and network equipment for both theaters 13. Life safety upgrade of electrical wiring in Lighting system 14. New Headset System 15. Includes communication system for both theaters 16. Replace house lighting system with system that has colorization options 17. Stage 18. New flooring & drapes 19. New flying system ropes 20. Back Area Needs 21. Relay plan for efficient use of space & improved sightlines 22. New doors, new toilets, improved sink drainage 23. Consider retrofit of ancillary spaces currently under utilized 24. Update lobby/atrium restrooms that are used by theater patrons.
