Description

As of December 5,2022, this project was awarded to Pasquazzi Brothers, but awarded amount not available. In accordance with MGL Chapter 149, the Town of Swansea is inviting bids from qualified companies for the demolition and hazardous materials abatement of the former Police Station Building located at 101 Gardeners Neck Road, Swansea, MA 02777. The building is a single story brick veneer structure with full basement, occupying 4,065 square feet and contains asbestos containing materials (ACM) and other hazardous materials to be removed prior to demolition. Bidders must be certified by MADLS as licensed asbestos contractor. A 50% payment bond must be provided at time of execution of contract. Prevailing wage rates apply. The Town of Swansea may cancel this IFB or reject in whole or in part any and all bids if cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the Town. Bid award will go to lowest responsible and eligible bidder.
