Buchholz High School Auditorium Renovations

The School Board of Alachua County is requesting Task Order Quotes from Pre-Qualified Bidders for the replacement of theater lighting and audio visual systems. The proposed work includes: 1. Removing existing theater lighting systems and replacing them with new theater lighting. Include new power and control wiring as required. 2. Remove existing AV systems and replace them with new AV systems. Include new power and control wiring as required. 3. Replace existing house lighting with new lighting. Controls for house lights are to be integrated with the theater lighting controls. 4. Remove and replace acoustical treatments on walls throughout the auditorium house. Install additional acoustical panels in the two wings at the rear of the room. 5. Repaint ceiling and walls. 6. Remove selected seating in the rear of the auditorium and provide a new permanent control desk in that location for lighting and sound control equipment.
