| Description | The Contractor shall Design and Build (repair) pavement in the LRS Compound east of Building 710 and south of Building 706. The existing pavement shall be removed and replaced with new concrete. The design shall be performed by a licensed Architect or Engineer (A-E) firm. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, expertise, testing, surveying, equipment, reports, samples, warranties, and transportation necessary to complete the project according to the Statement of Work, plans, specifications, and contract documents. The effort will consist of a base bid with no options. The base bid work shall include the removal of existing pavement, removal of existing base course and soil, compaction of the subgrade, installation of Geo-grid over subgrade, installation of new base course over Geo-grid, installation of new reinforcement for new concrete slabs, installation of new concrete slabs, cut joints into new concrete slabs, fill joints, and striping the parking lot.
