Description

Award: Truluck Construction, Inc for $1,974,599.83 The Procurement Division for the Town of Mount Pleasant (Town) will receive Bids from qualified and interested Bidders for the construction of Maritime Port District Intersection Improvements at the intersection of Long Point Road, Wando Park Boulevard and Hobcaw Bluff Drive. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the solicitation, to negotiate with all qualified Bidders, to accept or reject any or all Bids received as a result of this Invitation, to cancel in part or in its entirety and to award or refrain from awarding the project to any Bidder, if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so. The Bids must be signed by an official authorized to bind the bid for a period sixty (60) calendar days for acceptance by the Town. Bids must be submitted showing the above bid title as reflected on page one (1) of the solicitation document. The work will consist of the construction of roadway improvements at the intersection of Long Point Road, Wando Park Boulevard and Hobcaw Bluff Drive in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Construction activities include, but are not limited to clearing, grading, asphalt paving, storm drainage, mast arm traffic signals, sidewalk construction and landscaping. Also included in the work is utility relocations (water line relocation), traffic control, erosion control and pavement markings. The total length of the project is 0.183 miles on Wando Park Boulevard and 0.039 miles on Hobcaw Bluff Drive for a total of 0.222 miles. Construction time for the project shall be five hundred forty (540) calendar days from the commencement date in the Notice to Proceed.
