2023 Paving

The City of Mount Vernon is accepting bid proposals for the 2023 Paving Program. Work includes pavement rehabilitation/restoration, utility adjustment, temporary traffic control, and other required site work on sections of East Division Street, N 18th Street, Anderson Road, East Fox Hill Street, and North 35th Street. Question Submission Deadline:February 16, 2023, 2:00pm The City of Mount Vernon, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. Engineers Estimate $1,680,000 - $1,960,000 The City of Mount Vernon reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals, revise or cancel the work, complete the work by other means, or to postpone the bid award by up to thirty (30) days after bid opening *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
