Description | This project consists of site demolition and preparation for the new construction of a pre-engineered metal building for a new retail store. The following trades will be required to complete this project: Site Clearing and Demolition; Erosion Controls / SWPP - per plans and local requirements; Site Excavation and Earthwork - Infill low areas from demo, strip 6” of topsoil and stockpile, compact subgrade and proof roll to ensure there are no soft yielding areas, import place and compact fill per soils report, furnish and install 8” of stone or sand for the dumpster pad sub-base, 18” RCP w/ Flared End Sections and 12” RCP at entrances; Underground Site Utilities - 175 LF of water line and 235 LF sanitary sewer; Striping, Parking Blocks (17), and Handicap Signage; Landscaping – Hydroseed disturbed areas; Dumpster Enclosure Posts, Gates and Hardware only - Chain-link gates; Concrete – Dumpster Pad 7” Reinforced Concrete Pad, Integral Curb for Parking Lot, Heavy Duty 6” Concrete Paving, Standard Duty 5” Concrete Paving, Building Pad and Foundation, Building Sidewalk w/ Turndown Curb, Install 8 Bollards – include setting steel for sidewalk trench drain; Masonry – 4” and 8” split face CMU at Building / 8” Split Face CMU for Dumpster Enclosure; Structural Steel - PEMB anchor bolts; Pre-Engineered Metal Building - ERECTION ONLY; Metal Stud/Track Framing and Drywall - Include all in-wall blocking, in-wall insulation, backing and 2x where noted/required, include acoustical ceilings per the finish schedule on A5.0, furnish and install FRP, include install of doors, frames, hardware and restroom accessories; Caulking - all abutting dissimilar surfaces, pavement and concrete joints per details; Glass and Glazing - storefront to be Kawneer or Vistawall / Oldcastle - follow local code requirements regarding storefront framing and glass type; Flooring - We have sheet vinyl and cove base for the restrooms only, Family dollar handles their other floor finishes; Painting - must use Benjamin Moore, interior drywall, exterior dumpster enclosure CMU walls – pay attention to interior notes, most drywall is only prepped ready for paint by Family Dollar and not all in our scope; Plumbing; HVAC - order RTU's from York or Carrier national account, and order Ruskin dampers per damper schedule; Electrical - rough-in for Family Dollar low voltage per notes and details, include purchase and install of switchgear and secondary service scope of work, lights are furnished and installed by the electrician, (3) single head site lights *As of September 2, 2021, the structural & PEMB drawings have been issued. *This project is being bid by invitation only.
