Professional Engineering Services Regarding the Inspection and Contract Administration for the Replacement of Bridge R-12 on County Route 7 (Monroe Avenue) over Waackaack Creek

The Consultant firms(s) shall provide the County of Monmouth with professional contract administration and inspection services necessary for the Replacement of Bridge R-12 on Monroe Avenue (CR 7) over Waackaack Creek in the Borough of Keansburg and Township of Hazlet, Monmouth County, New Jersey. The work to be performed under this contract consists of the demolition and removal of an existing single span bridge consisting of a concrete superstructure supported on a concrete substructure; and the construction of a new single span bridge consisting of a pre-stressed precast concrete box beam superstructure with a castin-place (CIP) concrete deck, sidewalk, and parapets with four bar railing, supported on CIP abutments and wingwalls supported by CIP footings and concrete filled pipe piles; as well as permanent steel sheeting and cofferdams with dewatering. This project also includes construction of approach roadway improvements consisting of bituminous concrete full depth pavement, milling and overlay, concrete curbs, concrete sidewalks, fence, beam guide rail, drainage swales, storm sewers, utility relocation, and other incidental and necessary work shown on the construction plans, entitled “Replacement of Bridge R-12 on County Route 7 (Monroe Avenue) over Waackaack Creek in the Borough of Keansburg and Township of Hazlet.
