Description | The UCSF Medical Center Imaging Department is replacing one of two MRIs on the 3rd floor of Moffitt Hospital. Scope of work is limited to only MRI 348D as shown in the Bridging Drawings dated January 21, 2022. During the course of the work, the adjacent MRI room must remain operational at all times as the MRI suite is operational 24/7. Scope of work includes upgrades to finishes, lighting, casework and plumbing as shown in the scoping documents. Due to operational hours, some work will need to be performed off hours as necessary. GE has been contracted to provide a new Signa Premier/XT Lift package including all equipment and components, however the existing GE magnet will remain. The project consists of approximately 3,286 SF of tenant improvement space only. Maximum Acceptance Cost: $3,000,000.00 Optional Pre-Proposal Clarification Meeting. A mandatory pre-proposal clarification meeting will be conducted on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, beginning promptly at 3:00 PM. Participants must arrive at or before 2:00 PM. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Proposers shall come prepared with questions concerning needed clarifications and shall only send their project manager, design professional, or other professional intended to work on the project to attend this meeting. Proposal Security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Proposal, excluding alternates, shall accompany each bid. The surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the bid deadline, an admitted surety insurer (as defined in the California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120). The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements. The work described in the contract is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. No design builder or subcontractor, regardless of tier, may be listed on a Bid for, or engage in the performance of, any portion of this project, unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 and 1771.1. |
