Painting Services

City of Manchester Public Schools and Municipal buildings requiring painting services will be based on unit costs to repaint interior and exterior areas of City buildings. 1. Prepare and Prep a variety of surfaces (i.e. cleaning, sanding, masking, filling holes, etc.) for painting and/or refinishing. 2. Paint a variety of different surfaces for the purpose of maintaining facilities in an attractive and safe condition. 3. Climb and apply paint from elevated surfaces such as ladders, scaffolds, and platforms. 4. Maintain tools and painting equipment in safe operating condition. 5. Mix paint and stains for the purpose of matching colors for various surfaces. 6. Remove graffiti from walls and masonry if required. 7. Transport tools and equipment to job site using personal or company vehicle. 8. Patch and repair drywall using joint compound and tape.
