Hydrogen Fueling at Sunset Maintenance Facility -Trucked in Liquified

The work includes, but is not limited to complete mobile fueling system to support the operation of up to 15 hydrogen fuel cell electric buses at the Sunset Maintenance Facility (SMF). The mobile fueling system is intended to be used as an interim method of fueling fuel cell electric buses during the design and construction of a larger and permanent hydrogen fueling system. The permanent-facility project will be bid under a separate scope/contract. The mobile fueling system is expected to dispense hydrogen (delivered under a separate procurement) via compression of gaseous hydrogen supplied to the facility via 'drop and swap' tube trailers to the hydrogen fuel cell electric buses or by pumping and gasifying cryogenic-liquid hydrogen.
