Department of Motor Vehicles / Board of Elections Addition / Renovation - Plumbing Construction

Lewis County herein called the Owner, invites the submission of sealed bids for the construction work involved with the above listed project. The project shall bid out as (4) prime contracts: General Construction, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical. The scope includes: Addition and Renovations to the existing 2,178 s.f. Department of Motor Vehicles building on the corner of River Street and East Main Street in the Village of Lowville. The 3,334 s.f. +/- addition shall provide for the inclusion of the Board of Elections within the same facility. The Bidder will be responsible for printing of plans and specifications as deemed necessary in order to prepare their Bid. All bids shall be in a Sealed Envelope clearly addressed to the above and marked: "DMV / Board of Elections Addition / Renovation" and at the time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid may be withdrawn without prejudice prior to the official bid opening time or any publicized postponement thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner.
