Replace South Shelter and Residence Roofs

Remove existing roofing systems at two Park Shelters and replace with new roofing systems in Henderson County. The South Shelter (62’x22’) is approximately 1,350 sq. ft. with a 3-12 pitch roof. The existing roof consists of 3-tab asphalt shingles on tongue and groove deck boards. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment and materials needed to remove the asphalt shingle roofing material, underlayment, decking and replace it with a new stone coated steel roofing system described below. The roof will receive new flashing and drip edge, new ice and water shield at eaves, new synthetic underlayment, new ¾” plywood sheathing and new stone coated steel roofing system. The Residence Building is approximately 2235 sq. ft. with a 3-12 pitch roof and a sunroom addition with 288 sq. ft. with a 1.5- 12 pitch roof. The existing roof consists of 3-tab asphalt shingles on wood decking. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment and materials needed to remove the gutters and downspouts, existing wood soffit, existing asphalt shingle roofing material, underlayment, decking and replace it with a new stone coated steel roofing system described below. The residence roof will receive new roofing material consisting of re-flash roof penetrations for exhaust vents, plumbing vents, and attic vents, new flashing and drip edge, new metal soffit system, new ice and water shield at eaves, new synthetic underlayment, new ¾” plywood sheeting, new stone coated steel roofing system, new metal soffit, new gutters and downspouts. The sunroom addition roof will receive new flashing and drip edge, new ice and water shield over the whole roof, new synthetic underlayment, new ¾” plywood sheathing, and new architectural style composite shingles.
