Orange County Convention Center West Building Electrical Transformers, Panels and Switchgear Replacement

Orange County reserves the right, and the Manager of the Procurement Division, has the absolute and sole discretion to cancel a solicitation at any time prior to approval of the award by the Board of County Commissioners when such approval is required. The decision to cancel a solicitation cannot be the basis for a protest pursuant to the Orange County Code. Orange County will bear the cost of all permits, licenses, and fees imposed on the work/project by agencies of the Orange County Board of County Commissioners. This does not alleviate the selected Respondent from obtaining and procuring the permits, as required by the County This project involves the replacement of existing electrical transformers, panels, and switchgear in the West Building Hall D and E tunnels. The electric transformers, panel boards and switchgear are original to the building and due to their age, they need to be replaced and brought up to current building codes. Due to the OCCC Facilities Services of ongoing show activity, the infrastructure is required to minimize any power lose and therefore activity suspension. Question Deadline 05/22/2023 at 5:00 PM ET The Estimated Cost for this project is $2,671,000.00 Liquidated damages up to 10% of the Contract A Bid, Payment and Performance Bond are a requirement when the offer/contract amount exceeds $100,000. Respondents shall attach an electronic copy of their bid bond for responsiveness. Submission of the bid bond, along with a certified and effectively dated copy of the power of attorney, shall be completed and signed by all required parties and submitted on the form provided in the solicitation. Submittal of a bid bond less than 10% of the total estimated contract amount for base period, shall result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.
