Description

The City of Chamblee seeks to provide safe and high-quality, bicycle and pedestrian access to and from residences, offices, retail, local municipal buildings as well as commercial transportation offered by providers such as GRTA and MARTA. The Rail Trail extension will consist of a multi-use trail facility, which will begin at Piece Drive, cross Chamblee Dunwoody Road and connect into Peachtree Road. The trail will travel along Peachtree Road, beginning at Chamblee Dunwoody Road and end at the Chamblee/Doraville city limits. Total project length is approximately 1.8 miles
