Fuel Containment

This is a non-personnel services contract to perform fuel containment and tank maintenance. Fort Campbell, Directorate of Public Works, Environmental Division, Spill and Storage Tank Program (DPW), Fort Campbell, KY (Post) has updated the approved Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan (SPCCP) for the Post in accordance with leak or spill containment guidance provided in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (40 CFR). Post military and contracted operations manage and handle a variety of federal and state regulated petroleum and non-petroleum liquids in support of Post missions. The SPCCP prescribes measures to be implemented for preventing and controlling spills or leaks of environmentally regulated substances. DPW has conducted a Post survey and has identified sites where maintenance and containment relocations are required to ensure compliance with the SPCCP relative to fuel storage. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.
