Description

**As of August 10 2022, recommendation to award Lawrence M Clarke, Inc. for $1,101,380.00. The work begins by September 15, 2022, and substantially completed by December 15, 2022, with final completion by June 1, 2023. The proposed project consists of the installation of full lead water service line replacements. The scope of this project is to install a new one (1) inch service line from the water main to a minimum of 18 inches inside the building or to the meter per EGLE lead and copper rule. The project will be awarded through three (3) contracts, one contractor may be selected for multiple contracts. The work consists of the following contracts: Contract 1 - Installation of 170 Full Lead Service Line Replacement in various road locations over a 3- year period. Contract 2 - Installation of 165 Full Lead Service Line Replacement in various road locations over a 3- year period. Contract 3 - Installation of 155 Full Lead Service Line Replacement in various road locations over a 3- year period. Road locations will be a city block and provided at the time of contract award. The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: City of Hamtramck Department of Public Works Clerk's Hennessey Engineers, Inc., Southgate, Michigan Construction Association of Michigan, Bloomfield Hills Michigan, Construction Journal LTD, Stuart, Florida CDC News Construction Journal, Vero Beach, Florida Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 90 days after the bid opening date.
