Description | North 11th Street Improvements (From Haledon Avenue to Planten Ave) Borough of Prospect Park Passaic County, New Jersey Major Items: 7,600 Sy Hma Milling, 3" or Less 1,200 Ton Hot Mixed Asphalt 12.5 M 64 Surface Course 1,000 Lf 9" X 20" Concrete Vertical Curb 275 Sy Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick 205 Sy Concrete Driveway, Reinforced, 6" Thick the A Certified Check or Bank Draft, Payable to the Order of Borough of Prospect Park, or Negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (at Par Value), or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and an Acceptable Surety, in an Amount of Ten (10%) Percent of the Total Bid Not to Exceed $20,000 Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. Bids Shall Include a Consent of Surety Obligating the Issuing Surety to Provide the Bidder, if Awarded a Contract for the Project, With Performance and Payment Bonds as Required by the Project Specifications. The Borough of Prospect Park Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality in and to Accept or Reject Any and All Bids. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Sixty (60) Days. Bidders Must Submit With Their Bids the Non-collusion Affidavit Contained in the Contract Documents. Prevailing Wages Established Under the Davis-bacon Act Will Apply to This Contract. The Contract Documents Contain Requirements Addressing Prevailing Labor Wage Rates, Labor Standards, Nondiscrimination in Hiring Practices, Goals for Minority and Female Participation, Mbe and Wbe Participation, and Related Matters. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informality in the Bidding. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:5-31, Et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27. Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.50 Et Seq., Bidders and Their Subcontractors Are Required to Be Registered With the New Jersey Department of Labor and to Possess a Current Certificate From Said Department Indicating Compliance at the Time of Bidding. |
