Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Norfolk District requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Janitorial Services within designated facility. Facilities that are 3,000 Square Feet or less are required to be cleaned two (2) times per week while facilities that are 3,001 square feet or more are required to be cleaned three (3) times per week. The contractor shall perform the following work for Group 1. Group 1 facilities range from 700 sq feet – 3800 sq feet. Work shall be performed Monday-Friday excluding all federal holidays and other days specifically designated by the Real Estate POC. Work shall take place between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, or by appointment scheduled in advance, with each recruiting service. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, inspections, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, and other items necessary to perform janitorial services as described in the schedule of janitorial services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers leased space. Janitorial Service applies to all designated spaces, including, but not limited to, halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entranceways, lobbies, common areas, test room areas and storage room areas. Anticipated locations for this work are: Bristol, VA Wytheville, VA Danville, VA Martinsville, VA Roanoke, VA A list of anticipated tasks to be completed for the janitorial services are provided below: Tasks to be completed: Weekly: Trash Removal Vacuuming Hard Surface Cleaning Restrooms Miscellaneous Cleaning Monthly: Dusting Clean Glass Surfaces Wash Trash Receptacles De-scale Toilet Bowls and Urinals Quarterly: Change HVAC Filters Clean HVAC Intakes Twice Per Year: Carpet Cleaning Once Per Year: Clean Light Fixtures As needed: Emergency Cleaning Re-lamping
