Description

For Grass Cutting and Trimming The City of Fairmont is seeking proposals for BID FY22-12: 2023 GRASS CUTTING AND TRIMMING FOR THE CITY OF FAIRMONT, for the 2023 grass cutting season with an option to renew for an additional 1-year extension, funding permitting, under the terms and conditions set out further in this bid invitation. This bid has three options to bid on. Option 1: Grass Cutting and Trimming for the Sanitary Sewer Board Waste Water Treatment Plant and Water Dept. Master Meter Wells & Raw Water Pump Station Option 2: Grass Cutting and Trimming on the Downtown Fairmont Gateway Connector and the Grass Cutting and Trimming on the Downtown Fairmont Gateway Connector Median Option 3: City Parks, City Lots, and Misc. Locations Bidders are welcome to bid on any one or all options. They will be considered separately when evaluating the proposals. The intent of this bid is to provide a fixed fee for the mowing/trimming of specific locations for the City of Fairmont for a period of 1 year beginning on the date of the Notice of Award (and dates agreed upon by the Utility Manager and Public Works Director). In addition, the Bidder agrees to allow for an additional 1-year extension to the contract, for a maximum of two (2) years (final term ending date to be the end of the 2024 mowing year, as determined by the Utility Manager and Public Works Director), provided that no increase has been made to the original contract price without the express written consent of both parties. The City of Fairmont will select the lowest most responsible bid proposal. Each bid must be submitted on the set of proposal forms furnished with the bid package, in a sealed envelope marked on the outside as "BID FY23-12-- 2023 GRASS CUTTING" and must bear the name and address of the bidder and addressed to: City of Fairmont Attn: Purchasing Coordinator 200 Jackson St., Room 305 Fairmont, WV, 26554. Hours of operation for the Purchasing Dept. are Monday--Friday, 8:30 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m. (EST), excluding holidays. The City of Fairmont assumes no responsibility for the premature opening of a bid not properly addressed and identified, and/or not delivered to the proper designation.
