RFQ - Design and Construction - New Medical Examiner Facility

**As of December 17, 2023, selection has not been made yet and still under negotiations. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Marion County is overseeing the design and construction of the new multi-county Medical Examiner's office. The current site in Leesburg is outgrown and doesn't have the capacity to grow in the current location. The proposed new site will be 10+ acres and is yet to be determined. Provide complete professional design, architectural, civil engineering, MEP engineering, and consulting services to build a new medical examiner's office building. The building shall incorporate all of the current functions of the existing facility with expanded work space and improved circulation of staff in the daily operation of the facility. Marion County has a conceptual floor plan that has been approved by all stakeholders for use in the final design and development of construction drawings. This consists of approximately 17,400 SF of morgue space, approximately 11,350 SF of administration wing, and approximately 620 SF of connecting corridor, for a total of +/- 29,370 SF.
