Western Government Center Renovations - Henrico County

Registrar’s Office renovation to process early voting as well as other business functions. This project reconfigures the space on the first floor of the Administration Annex that was vacated by Public Utilities, to handle in-person early voting more effectively and efficiently. Project also includes Planning Office renovation that will provide a more efficient operation by bringing team members together, providing shared workspaces, and refreshing furniture, carpeting and paint that is over 20 years old. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023 - 2033 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of May 4, 2023, an architect has been selected. Design is set to be completed August 2023 with construction beginning Fall 2023> *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
