OCC Mechanical Room Cooling - Ventilation Work

Install a new cooling system serving the basement mechanical room C114. The new system is comprised of a small modular AHU, separate exhaust fan, ductwork, supporting hydronic and electrical work, and DDC temperature controls. A new mechanical duct shaft will be routed from the basement mechanical room, through a janitorial space on the 1st floor, and terminate at new exterior louvers ont he south side of the building. The installation pathway for the new equipment is through existing precast concrete panels located on grade at the south side of the building on Fillmore Street. These panels will be removed, restored, and reinstalled in a weathertight manner. This portion of the scope needs to be coordinated with the facility in order to lessen the impact to the ADA entrance directly above. This project also includes repairs to a structural beam and associated structural members. Refer to the structural drawings for the nature of the scope. Unit pricing is also requested as part of this scope. Finally, this project includes a bid alternate for additional demolition of legacy mechanical equipment including absorption chillers, pumps, and accessories.
