Pepin Creek / Main Street Bridge

Estimated cost: $3,545,479.22 CITY OF LYNDEN PEPIN CREEK / MAIN STREET BRIDGE Project Number 2022-05 This contract provides for the relocation of Pepin Creek across Main Street approximately 200 feet east of the existing Pepin Creek culvert crossing. The work to be performed under this contract shall include excavation and grading of a new channel section for Pepin Creek and construction of a single-span prestressed, precast concrete girder bridge with shallow foundations, abutments, retaining walls, moment slabs, approach panels, and sidewalks. Work will also include installation of curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water main, and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Special Provisions, the Standard Specifications, including the amendments thereto, and Standard Plans. All materials, equipment, labor, and other miscellaneous items required to complete the work shall be furnished by the contractor unless otherwise noted on the Contract Plans. All bidders and subcontractors shall have a contractor's license to work in the State of Washington and a City of Lynden Business License. The City of Lynden also reserves the right to postpone the bid award for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after bid opening.
