Industrial Access Road - Extension to Sid Thompson Drive

The project will construct adding an 1100' two-lane industrial access road extension of Sid Thompson Drive near the James Hardie Building Products site. Work will include earthwork, drainage, base, and pavement construction. The project shall be completed in 50 working days. A bid bond is required. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process. No bid may be withdrawn after the time opening has passed. The City of Prattville reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of 30 days after receiving bids until notice of award. All bidders must be licensed by the State of Alabama Licensing Board of General Contractors, as required by Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama 1975, as amended. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The bracket estimate on this project is from $1.2 to $1.4 million. This is just for general information to contractors and bonding companies on the size & complexity of the project.
