Reroofing at Northfield and Southwood Jr/Sr. High Schools

Work includes but not limited to: 1. Removing existing fascia systems, existing roof membrane(s), fasteners/plates and flashings. Removing any existing system under membrane system. 2. Removing existing roof insulation. 2. Removing the existing counter-flashings and receiver. 3. Repairing and preparing existing construction as required to receive new roofing materials. 4. Providing all new membrane roofing and flashings, counter-flashings, roof insulation, adhesives, fasteners, gravel stops, fascia, coping, and accessories required for a complete, watertight, guaranteed installation. 5. Replacing all existing flashings and related sealant as required to assure weather- tightness. 6. Adding wood blocking as shown on drawings or required by manufacturer. See Division 6, Carpentry. 7. Replacing all existing pitch pockets. 8. Reworking roof drains, equipment curbs, etc. 9. Other work as indicated on drawings. The Contractor shall remove, sort and place in a location as determined by the Owner, all metal copings, trim, fascia, and all other metals from demolition for this project at both schools.
