Construction of a Metal Building 60-Foot Wide by 40-Foot Deep with 3 Bay Doors

Scope of Work Requirements include: Construction of a metal building 60-foot wide by 40-foot deep with 3 bay doors. • Foundation: • Install and finish a 6-inch concrete slab on current grade (pad has already been constructed). • Accommodate a building 40’L x 60’W with high strength concrete slab • Support heavy trucks parked, estimated at 3,000 psi or greater strength • Have a slick finish • Accommodate floor water drains at each truck bay for drainage while maintaining slope and thickness to accommodate integribidty and strength. • Accommodate water, sewer, gas and electric utilities in slab where needed to be contracted separately with another contractor • Building: • Construct a metal building sized 40’L x 60’W, with either a metal frame or strong timber frame • Roof should have 4:12 or similar pitch to support appropriate wind and snow loads for this area. • Building height is estimated as 14’4” • Include 3 insulated rollup doors sized 12 ’x 12’ across the front. Doors should have at least 2 small windows per door. • Two 6`8" x 3` man doors on right side at front bay and back corner for ingress/egress • Building must have suitable insulation for acceptable energy efficiency. • Building colors for the metal exterior are red with white trim. • Building frame and exterior must support wind and snow loads for this region. Provide codes or ratings for roof loads/wind loads and specifications for all materials.
