28 Volt Ground Power Units

(2) 28 volt Ground Power Units, a package deal. These units should be furnished by a Hobart factory authorized distributor. Units are to be refurbished using only OEM part that meet Hobart factory specifications. In this bid for these units, in a package deal, units will be delivered to the Auburn University Regional Airport, set up and instruction provided by successful bidder at no charge to the airport. Bidder will also provide a one time, free of charge to Auburn University Regional Airport a complete service to both units within a 1 year period. A factory authorized Hobart distributor of these units should be able to service units within a 1 day notice due to the priority of this service. (1) Hobart Jet-Ex 3, single output, Ground Power Unit and (1) Hobart Jet-Ex 4D, single output Ground power unit. Both units will be refurbished. The Jet-Ex 3 GPU is a 28 volt DC drive unit and is gas operated with a 300, inline straight 6 cylinder ford motor. The Jet-Ex 3 GPU will be trailer mounted for transport to service aircraft. The next GPU is a Jet-Ex 4D 28VDC, single output with a 1004-42 Perkins Diesel motor. This unit will be trailer mounted for transport to service aircraft. Both unit will be serviced prior to delivery and a load test will be demonstrated upon delivery for verification.
