Description

This contract shall provide for the removal and replacement of the existing electrical panel/controls and installation of a new elevated platforms and new electrical equipment, and/or flood mitigation improvements at the Group 2 Lift Stations. This contract shall include all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, safety measures, environmental protection, disposal of surplus items, site restoration, and all other related construction necessary to provide a complete and operable lift station. The contractor shall coordinate with City personnel when removing a unit from service and/or restoring a unit to service. Tyler Street Lift Station (FEMA Project No. 13512) 1. Remove and replace two (2) 20Hp Flyght 6” submersible pumps and power leads (Pump No. 1 & 2) 2. Remove and replace the transformer, cooling fans, wiring and each of the three (3) VFDs 3. Remove and replace the electrical components in the lower portion of the pump control panel 4. Remove and replace the lighting transformer 5. Install a flood barrier system inside the control room entrance 6. Provide bypass pumping as necessary to switch over to new electrical controls and service 7. Provide testing and startup after installation is complete Bennett Road LS (FEMA Project No. 13477) 1. Remove and replace the two 5Hp Hydromatic 4” submersible pumps and power leads, and remove and replace the two 20Hp Hydromatic 6” submersible pumps and power leads 2. Remove existing electrical equipment and salvage for the City, including existing fiberglass control building 3. Construct a galvanized steel platform with electrical control rack, stairs and handrail 4. Install all new electrical equipment including new electrical service 5. Remove and replace float switches and leads 6. Provide bypass pumping as necessary to switch over to new electrical controls and service 7. Provide testing and startup after installation is complete Stonetown LS (FEMA Project No. 13510) 1. Remove and replace the two 15Hp Hydromatic 6” submersible pumps and power leads, 2. Remove existing electrical equipment and salvage for the City, including existing fiberglass control building 3. Construct a galvanized steel platform with electrical control rack, stairs and handrail 4. Install all new electrical equipment including new electrical service 5. Remove and replace float switches and leads 6. Provide bypass pumping as necessary to switch over to new electrical controls and service 7.
