Emergency Debris Removal - Arlington

The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide specified crews and equipment for the clearing and removal of vegetative or other large debris from VDOT right of ways that may be blocking or impeding traffic. This IFB is specific for emergency situations to remove debris generated by inclement weather events or any other event designated by VDOT. Emergency Debris Removal Services will be performed on primary roads throughout Arlington in the Northern Virginia District. Request for services will be on an on call, as needed basis, and may occur during inclement weather conditions or other emergencies. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Jason Bailey at Jason.Bailey@VDOT.Virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than five (5) days prior to the closing date. Work Location: Throughout Arlington in the VDOT NOVA District.
