RFP Engineering - Coast Highway Corridor Design

As of October 20, 2022, information regarding an award for this solicitation is not available. At this time, it is not known if an award has been made or when construction is anticipated to begin. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............ The project includes entitlement, permitting, and design services (preliminary and final) required to implement a portion of Alternate 3 of the Coast Highway Corridor Environmental Impact Report (EIR) approved by City Council on August 14, 2019. Alternate 3 proposes a road diet, mid-block crosswalks and roundabouts at select locations, and streetscape features that create space in the public right-of-way for bicycle facilities, improved sidewalks, and additional landscaping. The first segment focuses on Coast Highway between State Route 76 (SR 76) and Wisconsin Avenue. Additional requested optional tasks include: (1) Coast Highway between Wisconsin Avenue and West Street, including the roundabout at Wisconsin Avenue; (2) West Street to Oceanside Blvd, including the roundabout at West Street; (3) State Route 76 at Coast Highway roundabout; and (4) Bidding and construction support are requested. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
