9905--LED Sign

Description of work: Vendor shall provide the following: • A certified, knowledgeable technician to remove the existing galaxy sign that is in the main sign at the BLVD. The technician shall remove all old power supplies, panel, and old wiring, as well as the old cabinet the sign resides in. The technician then shall upgrade all the old lighting in the main sign with LED lighting, while removing and disposing of the old bulbs. The technician shall then install the Daktronics GT6-108X288-10-RGB-2V sign that measures (3’8” H x 9’8” W) Active area, and the cabinet must measure (4’2” H x 9’11” W x 0’7” D). The sign must fit in the existing sign without any modification or fabrication. The technician shall install all necessary power supplies, conduit, panels and cabinet and all components associated with the new sign. The Daktronics sign shall be installed with a Verizon 4G Cellular Modem and include a lifetime Verizon 4G Cellular Data plan per modem that is installed with the sign. The modem must be encased as to not be exposed to weather elements, yet accessible to receive maximum signal. • The technician is responsible for all site survey, vehicles and equipment required to perform installation including cranes, lifts, and ladders. • The technician shall install the Venus Control Suite software providing 3 copies of the licenses (1 we will be using right away for the cellular connection) The other 2 will be down the line once we get the software mapped for the VA network. The technician shall then educate the staff on the functionality and train all appropriate staff on the system itself.
