Description

The Oregon Military Department (OMD Owner or Agency) is seeking a Design-Build Contractor (DBC or Contractor) to provide Project management, design, review, value engineering, testing, inspections, commissioning and construction of the Jackson Armory ASLEP Project (the Project), including but not limited to, selective demolition, removal of regulated building materials, hazardous material abatement and disposal, material recycling, renovations of existing and additions of new facilities, structures, buildings, and infrastructures, both on- and off-Site, as may be necessary to remodel, replace and expand the facilities at the Site. The Jackson Armory Project consists of the design and remodel of an approximately 39,373 square foot (SF) 2 story Armory to include energy efficiency improvements and site and infrastructure upgrades. The Jackson Armory, located in Portland, Oregon, was built in 1963 and has been sporadically remodeled over the past 57 years. The remodeled Armory will serve approximately 145 people, comprised of both full-time traditional guardsmen, and part time personnel. The Armory will provide administrative, training, classrooms, lockers, offices and conference rooms. The Project will also include Site and Facility upgrades to include but not limited to the provisions for the appropriately sized paved military equipment parking areas, domestic and fire water, effluent disposal, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, latrines and showers, equipment storage areas, kitchen, assembly hall, training areas, classrooms, administrative spaces, supply rooms, site lighting, landscaping and fencing.
