Description | Each Bid should be clearly marked "BID ENCLOSED FOR TOWN OF SPEEDWAY, INDIANA, 2022 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT" and the bidders name and address on the outside of the envelope. Bids submitted after that time will be returned to the bidder unopened. A conditional or unqualified Bid will be rejected. The Base Bid will include milling, resurfacing, pavement marking, ADA curb ramps, curb, driveway approaches, site restoration, and mobilization and demobilization, in the following areas, with in the Town of Speedway; Whitcomb Ave., from Beauport Rd. to Hollister Dr., Patton Dr., from 29th St. to Beauport Rd., Hickorywood Dr., from McArthur Dr. to Whitcomb Ave., McArther Ln., from Beauport Rd. to Hickorywood Ln., Hickorywood Ct., from Hickorywood Dr. to Dead End. Alternate Items for new sidewalk construction may be added to the bid package. The Project, which is funded from Town budgeted funds and a CCMG grant, will be constructed in up to one (1) contract division. In general, the work consists of providing all labor and materials for resurfacing an asphalt concrete street. Checks shall be payable to "Kieser Consulting Group, LLC". Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. All bids received shall remain valid and in force for 60 calendar days after the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid, which is deemed most favorable to the Owner. |
