Severance Schoolhouse Renovation

Strip and re-roof with Certainteed 30-year architectural shingles. Including but not limited to a minimum of 6’ of ice and water shield at each edge, new drip edge, and appropriate roof venting. Include as an add/alternate a cost per sheet of plywood sheathing repair. Remove and replace any deteriorated exterior trim, paint exterior trim. Remove and replace exterior railings, decks, and handicap ramp with Trex or similar materials. Extend roof over front entry to a minimum of 5 feet from the building. Remove and replace two side exterior doors, all interior doors, and wood trim as needed. Remove one interior partition. Install appropriate framing as necessary so two rooms become one. Approximately 14’ opening. Provide and install new 6’ run of casework including a sink. New sheetrock, insulation, and drywall finish throughout the interior as needed. Complete interior painting including primer as needed, two coats of finish. Rough and finish plumbing for two new ADA bathrooms, kitchen sink and mop sink. Evaluate the heating system and repair as necessary. New distribution as needed. Add cooling to HVAC system. New electrical and lighting as required throughout. New emergency lights. New electrical devices throughout. Include appropriate new signage as required by code. Install new auto door operator for front door. Parking lot striping. Re-work and add to existing fire alarm system as needed. 12 mm LVT flooring throughout, vinyl cove base with walk-off mat at entry. Dumpster for disposal of all demolition.
