Burnsville Fire is a career department and the personnel work 24-hour shifts with living quarters making up a portion of the building. Due to the age of the existing Fire Station #1 facility, increased maintenance costs, limited functionality of the facility and a new fire response model, a new facility is being constructed to meet the growing needs and demands of the fire and EMS response systems. |
