Description | This project is located at various locations within the City of Medford and Jackson County, Oregon and includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct storm drain, curb ramp, and sidewalk improvements. Pay items include, but are not limited to the following: 1,435 foot removal of curbs; 2,525 foot pavement saw cutting; 750 cubic yards general excavation; 1 each concrete storm sewer manhole; 1 each type G-2 inlet; 785 tons aggregate base; 160 tons commercial asphalt concrete pavement (CACP); 1,435 feet curb and gutter; 27,600 square feet concrete walks; 4,950 square feet concrete driveways; 235 square feet truncated domes on new surfaces; 18 each extra for new curb ramps. Completion date: May 10, 2024. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check equivalent to 10% of the proposal payable to the City of Medford, to guarantee that if a proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured. A Bid Bond to like effect and amount with a corporate surety will be acceptable for this project. Bids must be in writing and signed by or on behalf of the bidders. All Bidders shall be prequalified with the City of Medford, as provided by law under Oregon Revised Statutes, at least 5 days prior to opening of bids The City of Medford programs, services and activities are open to all persons without regard to race, sex, age, handicap, religion, ethnic background or national origin.
