Description | The City of Dublin may choose to not award the bid--and bidders shall hold bids open--until sixty days after the bid opening. The work for which bids are invited consists of: Power wash (with cleaner) and re-sand brick or pavers; re-sand pavers; and areas where the bricks or pavers have settled, heaved, or required new edging shall be removed and reset with sand per the attached plan note and location map in the City of Dublin Historic and Bridge Park districts. Bricks or pavers can be reused unless they are cracked, broken, or have large chips. New bricks or pavers to be provided by the contractor as needed. These areas shall be determined and identified by the attached Location Map. Refer to the As Per Plan Note for details. The cost estimate for the Project is $119,756.00. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed by October 31, 2022. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid. |
