RFP - Landscaping & Beautification

The City of Frankfort, KY is looking at the potential to issue a contract for landscaping and beautification services for the City of Frankfort, KY Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites Department. Deadline for Questions: Thursday, May 25th The City of Frankfort, Kentucky reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received, and to select that proposal(s) which it determines to be in its best interest. The City of Frankfort, KY is looking at the potential to issue a contract for landscaping and beautification services for the City of Frankfort, KY Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites Department. The RFP shall be provided in accordance with the stated specifications in Article IV TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS of this invitation. Successful firm I company(ies) or individuals shall be notified by the City's Purchasing Agent. After said release date, delivery ofservices shall be made as expeditiously as possible. The scope ofthis RFP is to seek qualified and experienced landscape design, maintenance, beautification, and nursery and plant expert providers to provide high quality service to the City of Frankfort, Kentucky for the downtown Frankfort area. The city is exploring the possibility of contracting out downtown landscape design, planting offlowers and plants annually, regular and routine maintenance (watering, mulching, trimming, etc.) and overall beautification. We are asking potential companies or individuals to provide proposals and recommendations on what species offlowers and plants to plant as well as physically planting the various different types offlowers and plants in the downtown area. As well providing recommendations and physically providing daily routine maintenance.

Division 11 -	Equipment, Play Field Equipment and Structures, Playground Equipment, Play Structures.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Selective Clearing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
Division 33 -	Utilities.
