Description

The Project consists of the following major items: Base Bid: • Installation of approximately 6,800 LF of 18-inch C900 PVC water main and restrained joint C900 PVC water main; • Installation of approximately 228 LF of 18-inch Fusible PVC water main by horizontal directional drill; • Installation of approximately 263 LF of 36-inch steel encasement with 18-inch restrained joint C900 PVC water main by dry bore and jack; and • Valves and other appurtenances as required. Alternate: • An Alternate bidding option of Ductile Iron Pipe in lieu of C900 PVC water main and restrained joint C900 PVC water main. Small, minority and woman’s businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids.
