| Description | J041--Replace Cooling Towers 1 & 2 (VA-20-00063417): Project No. 528A8-19-807 - Project is to replace the cooling towers located on the roof during the off season. A semi-detached chiller plant was added in 1988 to provide a centralized source of chilled water for the hospital. Numerous modifications have been made to the chiller plant over the years but Cooling Towers 1 and 2 (nominal 700 tons each) are original and have numerous deficiencies that will be addressed by replacement of the towers and related equipment. |
