Description

The proposed project includes bid documents for the design and construction of the repairs to the West Small Craft Harbor Fishing Pier. The work includes furnishing of materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to perform selective demolition to and the reconstruction of the fishing pier, including water and electrical services. The fishing pier will be reconstructed using the existing 14”x14” concrete piles, and will include new connection hardware with wood-timber construction of the substructure and decking (Additive Alternate No. 1), fish cleaning station, electrical service, water service, wood benches, ADA compliant wood handrails and two (2) 30’x30’ pavilions each with standing-seam metal roofs. An Additive Alternate No. 2 is included to allow for the reconstruction of the decking using a “flow-through” grating material inclusive of the necessary supporting structures to accompany the installation of the grating.
