Description | 1. Provide a plaster finish to the pool structure(s) on the Indoor Leisure pool. 2. Owner will drain pool and remove hydrostatic plugs. 3. Owner will remove ladders, hand rails and underwater lights from housings. 4. Cover all drains, inlets, slides and play apparatuses to prevent any and all debris from adhering to, or entering pool piping during plastering. 5. Saw and chip below tile line, light housing recesses, drains, fittings and surface penetrations to allow for transition to match tile edge, water outlets and any existing structures according to manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. 6. Remove and replace the existing landing pad at all slide areas. Existing landing pads will be stored by Contractor and returned to jobsite in condition that they were in when removed. If Owner deems the existing landing pads to be unacceptable for reinstallation, Owner will purchase new pad(s) for installation by successful bidder. Contractor shall exercise diligence in removal and reinstallation process. 7. Check for and remove any loose or hollow plaster (concrete) and repair prior to application of new plaster. 8. Apply bond coat to prepared pool surface to ensure plaster bonding according to manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. 9. Apply plaster working surface to a uniform smooth and hard finish according to manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. 10. Replace any and all tile that is damaged or missing prior to and after the plaster application. Tile grout must match existing. 11. Contractor to protect all existing surfaces (not receiving product), plants, concrete deck, railings, water jets, playground, etc. from damage during work. 12. Clean and remove all debris from job site. 13. Provide water analysis and pre-fill requirements per National Plasterers Council recommended guidelines. 14. All waste water shall be neutralized and disposed of in accordance with local and state codes. |
