Sixth Street Embankment / High Line

Plans call for the construction of 1,500-unit apartment complex on 25 percent of a 5.6-acre lot and park space on the remaining land. The park space would include an 800-foot Great Lawn, a children's play area, outdoor exhibition area and a series of trails. As of October 3, 2022 this project has faced ongoing opposition and legal challenges and is for the moment on hold. An architect was previously selected but they are not actively working on the project. A general contractor has not been selected. A firm construction timeline has not yet been established. *No inquiries are being accepted at this time.
