Timber Sale Lochloosa

Timber to be removed includes every second row and select thinning within leave rows to remove diseased, defective, and suppressed trees. Approximately sixty percent of the standing trees shall be removed. All timber shall be whole tree chipped and removed from the site. The District roughly estimates the volume of timber conveyed in this Agreement to be 4,200 tons of pulpwood, 1,900 tons of Chip-n-saw, but there is no guarantee that the volume is present. In addition, there is an undetermined tonnage of premerchantable pine. timber sale comprised of approximately 251 acres within the Lochloosa Wildlife Conservation Area, located on the north shore of Lake Lochloosa in Alachua County . The Sale Area is located in Section 9; Township 11 South; Range 22 East.
