NAVFAC Project No.: 1619289 NAVFAC ACQR No.: 5908076 Title: WRNMMC-010 Renovate Main Entrance Location of the Work: WRNMMC at NSA, Bethesda, MD Description of the Work: The work includes architectural design services to redesign the main vehicle drive and drop-off lanes, pedestrian walkways, and hospital entrance including a renovation of the new enlarged main lobby including the existing curtain walls, flooring. The existing front curtain wall is to be removed and replaced with a new curtain wall system located approximately 12 feet to the exterior within the footprint of the existing building. The newly designed entrance will include site civil work, landscaping, exterior and interior building finishes, safety, weather protection, built-in security features, infection control, planters, walkways, signage, entrance doors, lighting, HVAC, AT/FP, and physical security improvements, phasing and sequencing. New interior features include a main reception/information desk, visitor seating, ceremonial area with flag display, Patient Admission office, Command Duty office, a full service cafe, restrooms, acoustical treatments such as soundabsorbing flooring, wall paneling, ceiling finishes, LED lighting, fire protection system upgrades, IT-data service, information monitors, a main hospital directory, signage, new security features, and finishes on the main staircase and second floor overhead walkway and incidental related work. A hard copy of your bid bond will be requested from the apparent low upon confimration of their price and must be submitted to the PCO office within one (1) buisness day from time of request. In accordance with FAR 52.228-15 Performance and Payment Bond - Construction, Performance and Payment Bonds are required from the awardee and shall be submitted for approval to the Contracting Officer within 15 days after award of the Task Order.
