Description | Handicap Lift Installation Project Arrangements for: Receiving Contractor Bid Packages, Site Visits, and Proposal Submissions need to be made by contacting Jacques Hryshko through the contact information below. This project is funded by an Essex County Community Development Block Grant; therefore, all bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975 C. 127 regarding Affirmative Action, Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Opportunity and Chapter 33, Laws for 1977 regarding disclosure of Partners and Stockholders. All contracts and subcontracts for consideration for construction or purchase of materials are subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1968, prevailing wage statement State & Federal. Family Connections, Inc. reserves the right to reject; any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. All bidders must be registered with the State of New Jersey, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48, et Seq. and shall submit proof of said Business Registration in accordance with P.L.2004, c.57. Bidders shall be required to submit with each bid a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Total Base Bid, but not in excess of $20,000. Bidder must also submit a Certificate of Surety from a Surety Company duly authorized to do business in the Stated of New Jersey agreeing to furnish a performance bond if the bidder is successful. The Unique Entity Identity Number through the System for Award Management (SAM) is also required to be submitted with the proposal. The SAM registration must be current. The contract governing the project is funded by the Essex County Community Development Block Grant Funds under Title 1 of the Housing and Urban-rural Recovery Act of 1983 (P.L.98 -161). Under said Act the Davis Bacon Act is applicable to the contract work. Accordingly, the contractor must abide by the provision of the Federal Labor Standards which are included as part of the conditions of the contract. |
